Buddy and I got everyone delivered to the Reunion grounds and got the luggage unloaded. I made sure those young boars had something constructive to do by making them deliver the luggage. Indy told me I had done the best thing with those boys to keep them out of trouble. I am hoping to get a promotion but that is another story for another time so I’ll get on with my report.

Mo and Harley were waiting when we got there and gave out the cabin assignments. Everyone agreed to go to their cabin to unpack and get ready for the first meal that we would share together. Everyone was anxious to see what Chef Jean Paul Cavy had prepared. Buddy and I got a real good laugh out of that one cause we knew he wasn’t here! We kept our mouths shut just like our boss, Arthur, had to us to do. Buddy and I wandered on over to the mess hall so we could have a good view of everyone when they found out the surprise.

The chef came out and asked me to ring the dinner bell to call everyone to dinner. I couldn’t wait for them to see what was waiting for them. The tables were all covered in red bandanna tablecloths and the napkins were folded in the shape of carrots! The centerpiece of each table was a big salad that had all the things that guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, and strange dogs like Sammy enjoy eating.

The tables for the GPSP had the salads but there were also things there that would suit our tastes like the pate` that was shaped like bones! There were a lot of gourmet biscuits to spread the pate` on and I couldn’t wait to get my mouth on it cause I had been the official taste tester and it was good!

Anyway, all the guests came in and they were talking like they had not seen each other in years! Braveheart, Justine, Arthur, and Guinevere came in and got their attention. Braveheart welcomed everyone to the get together and hoped everyone would have a good time. He told everyone that the card party would officially start tomorrow and the shopping trip would begin at 9:00 am sharp. He explained that he had chartered a bus to take everyone who was planning on going shopping so they could ride in comfort and visit with everyone.

Arthur then invited everyone to sit down and begin the appetizer which was made up of the centerpiece. They all sat and began to eat. The waiters began bringing out each part of the meal and I’m not going to go into a lot of detail but I can tell you that those pigs sure did tuck into the fruit salad that was served. Those of us who like to eat meat had steaks and they were done to perfection! The pigs were also served these vegetable kabobs that they all oohed and aahed about.

Forrest finally stood up and asked Arthur if Chef Jean Paul Cavy was going to come out to be applauded? Arthur told him that he couldn’t since he was on a cruise but that he would have the chef come out so they could meet him. I wish you could have seen their faces when Rocky came out with that big white chefs hat on! I thought those pigs were going to fall out of their chairs! You should have heard the whispers of disbelief and the cries of terror!

Arthur told everyone that they could relax because Rocky was an accomplished chef who had trained with none other than Chef Jean Paul Cavy! Rocky blushed when Braveheart told everyone that Rocky was no DUH dog in the kitchen and that he could cook for him anytime! It was something when everyone stood up and gave Rocky a standing ovation! I am going to have to explain to him later that it meant they liked his food not that they were going to come after him. DUH!!!!!!!
